Privacy
What this site stores, what it loads from other companies, and how visits are counted.
This is a plain description of what the site does. Last updated October 28, 2026.
What you give the site#
Nothing. There are no accounts, no forms, no comments, and no ads on this site.
What stays on your device#
The site saves two things in your browser's local storage so it works the way you left it. One is your light or dark choice. The other is which checklist steps you have ticked on each tutorial. This information never leaves your device and is not sent to the site. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Other companies that load with a page#
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. When a page loads, your browser asks Google for the font files, so Google receives your IP address and basic browser details.
- YouTube supplies the preview picture on each video, so YouTube's image servers receive a request when the page loads. The video player itself loads only after you press play, from YouTube's privacy-enhanced address. Once it plays, YouTube's own terms and privacy policy apply.
- Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any host, it receives the technical details of each request, such as your IP address, to deliver the page.
How visits are counted#
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages and sources bring readers. Cloudflare describes the service as privacy-first and says it measures requests without tracking individual visitors across sites. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for details.
Links that earn a commission#
Some parts lists link to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. If you follow one of these links, Amazon's own policies apply on its site.
Questions#
Leave a comment on any video on the YouTube channel and I will answer there. If you add a new tool to this site, such as a different analytics service, update this page the same day.
